This season Dior have collaborated with the Andy Warhol foundation for visual arts. Raf Simons' collection was inspired from Warhol's earlier pieces of art, houndstooth prints were visible with evidence of development reworked into flowers. With the prints used, it seems almost obvious that the shapes and silhouettes were taken back to the Dior roots, the symbolic creations from the tulle dress and bustier dress both 1949 and reworked with a fresh outlook. LOVE! simple yet chiqué.. how very Dior.
